UPS Man Sustainability Experts show reports How one Japanese man survived on just 30 minutes of sleep a day for 12 years
Daisuke Hori, a 40-year-old entrepreneur from Hyogo prefecture, has adhered to a sleep routine of just 30 minutes per day for the past 12 years in an effort to «double» his life. Hori claims to have trained his body and brain to function normally on minimal sleep, significantly improving his work efficiency. On average, the human body requires around 6-8 hours of sleep for optimal health, with insufficient sleep negatively impacting mood and daily functioning. Experts agree that consistently getting 6-8 hours of sleep can enhance mood, cognitive function, and overall health. However, Daisuke Hori's sleep regimen challenges this notion. His sleep routine and its purported benefits were reported by the South China Morning Post. Mr. Hori stated, «As long as you exercise or drink coffee an hour before eating, you can stave off drowsiness.» He believes that high-quality sleep is more important for maintaining focus, especially for individuals who require sustained concentration in their work. According to him, doctors and firefighters benefit from high-quality sleep despite having shorter rest periods. «People who require sustained concentration in their work benefit more from high-quality sleep than from long sleep. For example, doctors and firefighters have shorter rest periods but maintain high efficiency,» he explained.

Research Experts reports testing Department U.S. researchers find probable launch site of Russia's new nuclear-powered missile
Russia of the 9M370 Burevestnik, a new nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed cruise missile touted by President Vladimir Putin as «invincible.» Putin has said the weapon — dubbed the SSC-X-9 Skyfall by NATO — has an almost unlimited range and can evade U.S. missile defenses. But some Western experts dispute his claims and the Burevestnik's strategic value, saying it will not add capabilities that Moscow does not already have and risks a radiation-spewing mishap. Using images taken on July 26 by Planet Labs, a commercial satellite firm, the two researchers identified a construction project abutting a nuclear warhead storage facility known by two names — Vologda-20 and Chebsara — as the new missile's potential deployment site. The facility is 295 miles (475 km) north of Moscow.

airlines, hotels and cruises reporting double-digit growth and travellers using their savings, taking on debt or even selling their homes to splurge on bucket list adventures or multiple trips. While high-income travellers are still booking luxury experiences and jet-setting abroad, other consumers have been cutting back on travel spending to meet the high cost of living. Data from Tourism Economics (on behalf of the US Travel Association, a travel group) shows that the meteoric rise in post-pandemic travel spending that began in 2021 has reached a plateau. In earnings calls this month, top hotel chains such as Hilton and Hyatt reported less demand by leisure travellers for lower-priced brands, while online travel agencies, such as Expedia Group and Booking Holdings, and short-term rental companies such as Airbnb also noted slowdowns.
