Airports Authority of India, the Urban Development Department, the government of Rajasthan, and the Civil Aviation Department, for the development of Kota Greenfield Airport in Rajasthan, according to an official press release issued by AAI. As per the MoU, the government of Rajasthan will provide land for the development of the greenfield airport and AAI will be responsible for the construction, development, and operation of the airport. As per the information, the Greenfield airport at Kota will be constructed on 440.086 hectares of land for which a Detailed Project Report (DPR) is being prepared by the Airports Authority of India.

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) on Friday reported a 5% decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 15,138 crore for the first quarter ended June 2024. IndiGo’s Operational Challenges IndiGo, one of India’s largest carriers, has reported substantial operational disruptions. The airline announced on X, «Flights are cancelled due to the cascading effect of the worldwide travel system outage, beyond our control. The option to rebook/claim a refund is temporarily unavailable.» The outage has impacted IndiGo's flight operations, check-in systems, and baggage handling.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday slammed the UP government directive asking eateries on the Kanwar Yatra route to display owners' names as an «attack on the Constitution» and demanded the order be withdrawn. She also sought strict action against the officials who issued the order. Days after the Muzaffarnagar Police asked all eateries along the Kanwar Yatra route to display their owners' names, the Uttar Pradesh government on Friday extended the controversial order across the state. Microsoft Services, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday said that it has conducted a thorough assessment to estimate the impact of this outage on its regulated entities, particularly within the Indian financial sector. The assessment revealed that around 10 banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) experienced minor disruptions, which have either been resolved or are currently being addressed. According to the central bank, critical systems of most banks are not hosted in the cloud, and only a handful have adopted the CrowdStrike tool for cybersecurity.

Reliance Jio, the telecom unit under Jio Platforms Limited (JPL), reported 11.9% on-year growth in net profit for the fiscal first quarter. Net profit stood at Rs 5,445 crore for the three months ended June 30, 2024, as compared with Rs 5,337 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 4,863 crore a year ago. In a statement left for her family, 27-year-old Shivani Tyagi described the difficult period she experienced in Axis House in Sector 128 after moving there in October 2023. The day she got her notice of termination, she ate poison. Police said on Thursday that the dismissal was a retaliatory action because Shivani had quit on July 10 following a contentious confrontation at work with a coworker, a woman of the same level, which had turned physical. The sales manager sent her a notice of termination rather than accepting her resignation.
