Peak XV Partners and ChrysCapital sold shares worth Rs 606 crore in coworking space company Awfis on Wednesday through block deals. Together, the investors sold 8.5 million shares at Rs 709.90 apiece. This was a nearly 9% discount from Awfis’ closing share price of Rs 778.65 on Wednesday. While Peak XV Partners, which is tagged as a promoter of the New Delhi-based company, sold a 7.6% stake in the company, private equity firm ChrysCapital divested 4.5% stake.

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) classifies AQI between 0 and 50 as 'good', between 51 and 100 as 'satisfactory', between 101 and 200 as 'moderate', between 201 and 300 as 'poor', between 301 and 400 as 'very poor', and above 400 as 'severe'.

BEML Limited on Tuesday said it has secured a contract from the defence ministry to supply a 50-tonne Trailer valued at Rs 83.51 crore. The order highlights BEML's strength and capability in delivering advanced, indigenous products to enhance India's defence infrastructure, the public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence said in a statement. The heavy-duty Trailer is specifically designed for the transportation of battle tanks and features 12 twin wheels for durability and stability in challenging terrains. With a payload capacity of 50 tonnes, the Trailer is engineered to be towed by the BEML HMV 8x8 vehicle, BEML said.

West Bengal government on Tuesday passed two bills for formation of two private universities in the state during the penultimate day of the winter session of the Assembly. The two bills, passed in the assembly, will help in setting up of two private universities-Rabindranath Tagore University in Nadia district’s Dhaniakhali and Ramakrishna Paramhansa University at North 24 Parganas district’s Agarpara. State Minister for Higher Education & School Department Bratya Basu said in his speech on the floor of the House, “In Bengal there are 15 private universities altogether, including these two new universities, along with government universities.”
