Underweight stance on India leads to exits from FAR GSecs for a 2nd month
Foreign investors were net sellers of securities under the central bank's fully accessible route (FAR) for the second straight month in November, as global fund managers went underweight on Indian securities amid rising US yields. Foreign portfolio investors sold FAR securities worth ₹5,186.7 crore more than those they purchased in November, according to data from the Clearing Corporation of India. Net sales in October were ₹2,051.67 crore.

Futures positions in RIL touch 18-year high; 'Any upmove could be sharp'
futures contracts of Reliance Industries last week were at the highest level in 18 years as traders mounted bearish bets amid the weakness in the stock in recent months. Analysts said the stock is oversold and a turn in sentiment could prompt liquidation of these bearish bets that could result in outsized moves in the short run. Open interest (OI) or outstanding positions for Reliance Industries were up at 185.38 million shares on November 28 (Thursday), its highest level since 2006, from a low of 68.48 million shares on July 10, according to analysts. Open Interest indicates the number of active contracts comprising bullish and bearish positions.

CRPF, received multiple fatal bullet injuries and most of them were fired from behind, according to the post-mortem examination reports. A detailed analysis of all the 10 autopsy reports, which are available with PTI, showed that there were no other recorded torture marks on their bodies other than bullet injuries and the impact of such wounds. As per the documents, the 10 youths, including one minor, were identified as Ramneilien (29), Fimlien Kung Ngurte (31), Elvis Lalropei Zote (21), Lalthanei (22), Joseph Lalditum (19), Francis Lalzarlien (25), Roulneisang (30), Lalsiemlien Hmar (30), Henry Lalsanglien (25) and Robert Lalnuntluong (16).

Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed concern over the potential threats generated on account of digital frauds, cybercrimes and AI technology, particularly the potential of deepfake to disrupt social and familial relations. Addressing the concluding session of the 59th All India Conference of Director Generals/Inspector Generals of Police, the prime minister also called for the use of technology to reduce the workload of the police constabulary and suggested that the police station be made the focal point for resource allocation. Deliberations were held on emerging security concerns along the border with Bangladesh and Myanmar, trends in urban policing and strategies for countering malicious narratives, according to an official statement. In-depth discussions were held on existing and emerging challenges to national security, including counter-terrorism, leftwing extremism, cybercrime, economic security, immigration, coastal security and narco-trafficking.

Farmers to march from Noida to Delhi on Monday, says leader Sukhbir Khalifa
Sukhbir Khalifa has announced that farmers are set to march towards Delhi on December 2. Speaking about the protest, he told news agency ANI, “We are ready for our march towards Delhi. Tomorrow, on December 2, we will start our march towards Delhi from under the Maha Maya flyover. At 12 pm, all of us will reach there… and demand our compensation and benefits as per the new laws…” The farmers have been camping at the Shambhu and Khanauri border points since February 13, fighting for their rights and demands.
