Atishi claims Centre settling Rohingyas in Delhi; 'false narrative', says Hardeep Puri
Amit Shah on Sunday, accusing the BJP-led Centre of settling «a large number of illegal Rohingyas» in different parts of the city. With the AAP targeting Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri over his tweets and claiming that settling these refugees here was a «conscious decision» of the BJP-led NDA government, the minister accused AAP of indulging in «politics of diversion, false narratives and half-truths». In the run-up to the Delhi Assembly polls due in February 2025, the ruling AAP and BJP have been hitting out at one another over the issue of illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi people staying in the national capital. The BJP has already complained to the Election Commission about illegal Rohingyas and Bangladeshis registered as voters in Delhi «at the behest of AAP».

Music concerts are the latest craze, with many travelling overseas to watch their favourite performers. In India, stellar responses to Coldplay, Bryan Adams, Ed Sheeran and Diljit Dosanjh concerts signal that such large shows in India are likely to continue. Rising disposable incomes are spurring several others to fly to Southeast and West Asia, or even Europe, especially to watch artistes who don’t have an India stopover during international tours.

Did the world's richest man lie? Sam Altman and Elon Musk' feud takes an ugly turn, OpenAI publishes Tesla CEO's old emails showing he favored a for-profit structure
OpenAI has escalated its legal feud with co-founder Elon Musk by pretty recently publishing his old emails, which actually reveals that he previously advocated for the company to adopt a for-profit structure, reported Business Insider. According to Business Insider, in a recent blog post and legal filing, OpenAI highlighted an email from the year 2015 in which Elon Musk eventually expressed concerns that the nonprofit model was ‘not optimal’. Adding onto that, the company also noted that Elon Musk had supported a transition to for-profit in the year 2017 while contradicting his current opposition to such a move. Elon Musk has filed innumerable lawsuits against OpenAI while seeking to halt its transition to a for-profit entity and at the same time alleging that the organization has strayed from its original mission of serving public interest, asserted Business Insider. He also claims that the partnership of OpenAI with Microsoft creates a severely unfair competitive advantage for his own AI venture named xAI.

Constitution document of modern India, says Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha
Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that the Constitution could never have been written without ancient India and ideas. Speaking during a discussion on the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India, the LoP said that the Constitution contains a set of ideas from one philosophy of our nation. «In my last few speeches, I spoke about the concept of Abay Mudra. The concept of fearlessness, truth and nonviolence and I showed the House images of different religions displaying the Abay Mudra. People call it the longest written Constitution in the world but the Constitution contains a set of ideas from one philosophy of our nation. When we look at the Constitution and we open the Constitution we hear the voices and ideas of Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, and Jawaharlal Nehru. But where do these ideas come from? These ideas came from old profound, traditions in this country. Those ideas came from Shiva, Guru Nanak, Buddha, Kabir, and Mahaavir. When we speak of the Constitution and we show the Constitution of course it is the document of modern India. but it could never have been written without ancient India, and its ideas,» Rahul Gandhi said in the Lok Sabha.

Market corrections can be blessing in disguise for value investors
Valuation is commonly measured using financial ratios such as the Price-to-Earnings (P/E) or Price-to-Book (P/B) ratios. Let's focus on the P/E ratio for instance. This ratio increases when a stock's price rises faster than its earnings during the same period. If the price significantly outpaces the company's earnings potential, the stock is considered overvalued or sometimes “extremely overvalued” too.
