Anna Sebastian Perayil, a 26-year-old Chartered Accountant who passed her exams in 2023, tragically passed away after working at Ernst & Young (EY) Pune office for just four months. According to a letter her mother, Anita Augustine, wrote to Rajiv Memani, the Chairman and Managing Partner of EY India, Anna had been overworked to the point of breaking. In her letter, Anita Augustine expressed the deep anguish the family felt, not only from the loss of their daughter but also from the apparent lack of empathy shown by Anna's employers. “No one from EY attended Anna's funeral,” she wrote. The absence of her colleagues and managers during such a crucial time added to the family's sorrow. According to her mother, Anna had given her all to EY, yet in her final moments, no one from the organization was present to pay their respects. Anna's death and her mother's emotional letter have since gone viral on social media, sparking conversations about the toxic work culture in many multinational corporations.

Plant growth on the marble wall of the Taj Mahal's central dome has raised concerns about the monument's maintenance after a tourist shared a photo on social media. The plant, sprouting between the marble stones on the northern side of the dome, appeared just days after rainwater seeped through the ivory-white structure, causing droplets to reach the tomb below. Tour operators and organizations are questioning the conservation efforts in place. Shakeel Chauhan, national general secretary of the Tourist Guide Federation of India, commented, «The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) spends Rs 4 crore annually on the Taj Mahal's preservation. Such images tarnish the monument's reputation.» He urged for immediate conservation work following the rainy season. Rajkumar Patel, superintending archaeologist, stated that all plants on the mausoleum's walls were removed in August. «This plant has appeared in the last 15 days and will be promptly removed,» he assured. markets Matthews Actor Experts social reports Features Face change: Has actor Matthew McConaughey changed his look? His recent appearance leads to wild speculation
Matthew McConaughey, who starred in Mud and Magic Mike, are shocked by his recent public appearances and say his appearance has changed. The fans took to social media to criticize the 54-year-old actor, saying he appeared different when he and his 41-year-old wife Camila Alves attended a gala dinner last week. Some people conjectured that his eyes have changed color and that his nose is a different shape. Some have even gone so far as to claim that it is a double and does not resemble him. However, a plastic surgeon claims that the actor, who was born in Texas, is just thin because of weight loss. A TikTok video from the gala dinner was shared by social media user @Scuba_duba_, who claimed that he appeared different. Commentators pointed to his eyes, implying that they had been blue before and were now brown. Commenters on another TikTok video by @1mothastucka noted that he appeared to have lost weight or taken the Ozempic slimming jab. Others said that his nose looked different. On the social media platform X, it was mentioned on social media by @MerrittKelly1, who said that he looked very thin and rather angry. As if he lost a lot of weight for a role in a movie. Aesthetic doctors, however, have a more sensible explanation for his altered appearance than the actor being a double.
