Sandeep Dikshit clarified that the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was «never in question», responding to discussions about the possibility of an alliance. Speaking to on Sunday, Dikshit stated, «The alliance was never in question. The AAP kept launching the idea because they feared losing if they fought alone. But it is good that the alliance did not happen.» He went on to slam Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's leadership over the past decade, claiming it has led to the breakdown of the city's systems. «In the last 10 years, he (Arvind Kejriwal) has brought Delhi to a place where all the system has collapsed. These 10 years of failure will make him lose,» Dikshit said.

Airbus has picked up over 650,000 sq ft office space in a commercial tower in Bengaluru’s Whitefield through a long-term lease of 10 years to set up its global capability centre (GCC), supporting innovation and technology development-related strategic initiatives worldwide, said persons with direct knowledge of the development. The European multinational company will be paying rentals of over Rs 500 crore for this new office space in an entire building of Titanium Tech Park through the lease term. The deal has provision for future scalability to accommodate growth with an additional 150,000 sq ft that can be exercised after a year, taking the total space to 800,000 sq ft. The clause for lease tenure also includes an option to extend the same by an additional five years, making it a 15-year deal.

Indian Railways, in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation, has undertaken a project to elevate railway tracks to remove level crossings before next year's Maha Kumbh, officials said on Sunday. The initiative is set to ease traffic congestion, save travel time, and provide significant relief to city residents, they added. Celebrated in a cycle of 12 years, the Maha Kumbh will be held in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26. Rail under bridges (RUBs) and rail over bridges (ROBs) are ready on almost all the level crossings in Prayagraj where movement will start fully before the mega event, officials said.

Brijinder Singh was re-elected as the president of the Indian Golf Union (IGU) for a second consecutive term during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) here on Sunday. Luigi Mangione, accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Wayne Thompson, has hired Karen Friedman-Agnifilo as his lawyer. Incidentally, Friedman-Agnifilo's husband, Marc Agnifilo, represents rapper Sean «Diddy» Combs in his sex trafficking case. Thompson was shot and killed on December 4th in New York City while walking to a conference. Mangione, a University of Pennsylvania graduate, has been arrested in the case after a five-day manhunt. He has pleaded not guilty to murder and gun possession charges.
