PI Industries Ltd. gained 1.11 per cent to Rs 3495.0 in Thursday's trade as of 11:16AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 3498.0 and low of Rs 3448.55 during the session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 34.46 points up at 21653.15, while BSE Sensex was up 108.37 points at 71766.08 as of 11:15AM(IST)on January 11. Indian Hotels Company Ltd. traded 0.23 per cent up at Rs 459.5 at 11:06AM (IST) on Thursday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 108.39 points to 71766.1. The scrip had closed at Rs 458.4 in the previous session.

Zomato Ltd. traded at Rs 137.25 on BSE at 10:41AM (IST) on Thursday, up 1.93 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 44.35 and a high of Rs 137.75.

Cochin Shipyard fell over 5% to the day's low of Rs 761.30 on Thursday amid profit booking following a stock split which saw the counter getting subdivided into two shares on Wednesday. The PSU defense stock had hit a 20% upper circuit and hit levels of Rs 802.80 on the NSE. Shares of PSU defense stock have gone up nearly three times in the last one year and it traded ex-split on Tuesday.

Taking cues from the international market, MCX February gold futures were trading in the green, around Rs 62,100 per 10 grams, up Rs 104 or 0.17% from Wednesday's closing price. Meanwhile, March Silver futures were trading at Rs 72,065 per kg, higher by Rs 96 or 0.13%.
