Marico Ltd. gained 0.28 per cent to Rs 532.0 in Monday's session as of 11:26AM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 314.0 points lower at 72828.8. Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap down start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 595.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 462.95 on NSE. Around 11805 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:26AM (IST).

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. gained 0.11 per cent to Rs 173.5 in Monday's trade as of 11:31AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 176.85 and low of Rs 172.7 during the session.

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has issued a statement regarding the plea of four Indian youth who were allegedly forced to join the Russian army and are now stranded in Russia along the war-torn Ukraine border. Expressing concern over the situation, the MEA clarified its stance on media reports regarding Indian nationals seeking discharge from the Russian army. According to the MEA, every case brought to the attention of the Indian Embassy in Moscow has been strongly taken up with the Russian authorities. Similarly, cases brought to the attention of the Ministry have been addressed with the Russian Embassy in New Delhi. This effort has resulted in several Indians being discharged, with the MEA reaffirming its commitment to actively pursuing all relevant cases of Indian nationals for an early discharge from the Russian army.

Shweta Rajani, Head-Mutual Fund, Anand Rathi Wealth, says “any capital asset that you have held and sold like real estate, depending on the holding period will be categorised under short-term or long-term capital gain.
