Tech View: Nifty ends above 20-DMA for 3rd day. What traders should do on Friday
Nifty on Thursday ended 71 points higher above the 21,900-level to form a Doji-type candlestick on the daily chart. Both price and momentum indicators suggest a continuation of the up move. Nifty is currently placed at the edge of moving above the minor down- trend line resistance around 21,900-21,950 levels. A decisive break above this hurdle could open the doors for new all-time highs around 22,150 levels. Immediate support is at 21,800, said Nagaraj Shetti of HDFC Securities.

He spent millions collecting the rarest sneakers and cars. Now he’s over it.
Five years ago, during an idle afternoon at his lakeside vacation home in Ontario, Canadian financier Miles Nadal purchased 99 of the rarest sneakers in the world from Sotheby’s for $850,000. His wife was out wakeboarding with the kids, he was sitting at his computer, and suddenly he’d bought nearly 100 high-value shoes. Nadal recalled telling his wife simply, “I bought some shoes," as if he was describing buying a lone pair of Nikes from Zappos.

Opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari detained on his way to Sandeshkhali
BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, along with four legislators, were detained by the police at Rampur village en route to Sandeshkhali. The policeman allegedly assaulted him as staged a sit-in protest in Rampur along with the legislators. "… A police officer named Amin Ul kicked me with his boot. They did that to the LoP. I will protest for a while, and if they do not rethink their decision, I will move the HC… A mere DSP kicked a four-time MLA, ex-minister, LoP, two-time MP, and three-time councillor. What kind of behaviour is this," he said as he along with six Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader were suspended from the West Bengal Legislative Assembly early this week for staging protests and demanding a statement by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the Sandeshkhali issue in the House.

Mumbai and Parle have grown and changed together, hand in hand: Mayank Shah
Mayank Shah, VP, Parle Products, says “we have changed along with the city, hand in hand. Bombay has evolved into a mega metro today from what it used to be. Of course, it used to be an important city earlier as well but the way it has grown today is the same way even the company has grown. So, probably 20 years back, we had very limited products, very limited options. We are available in limited categories. Today, we have more than 50 brands and more than 350 SKUs straddling across multiple categories.” On premiumisation of products Mayank Shah: We have an entire range of premium products called Platina, where we have Milano, Hide & Seek, Nutricrunch, and all of them and they are doing very well. So, as India is growing, as our economy is developing and growing, I think Indians have started accepting premium products or rather have started spending on premium products and the Platina range is doing very well.
