Super Bowl victory rally on Wednesday. Football fans dressed in red jerseys ran in complete chaos and took shelter wherever they could. Players of the Kansas City Chiefs were on the stage and about one million football fans had gathered in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, to attend the parade and rally to mark the Chiefs’ repeat championship win.
According to a BBC report, Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves has confirmed the shooting incident and said 22 people were struck by gunfire, one of whom died. Graves also said that guns were recovered at the scene. Police have not announced the charge.

At a press conference held on Wednesday, the Kansas City Police Chief said he was angry at what happened and the people who came to this celebration should expect a safe environment.
Graves also said that the police are collecting physical and digital evidence, interviewing witnesses and asking victims some questions.
Chief Nursing Officer Stephanie Meyer told BBC nine children aged six to 15 with gunshot wounds were treated at Children's Mercy Hospital. Officials of the local hospitals said they were also treating people who were not shot, but who had suffered other injuries in the sudden stampede that followed the shooting.
