The development of 2XKO has been ongoing for some time, with the game being playable at various events under its previous name, Project L. The game will feature several popular characters from the League of Legends universe. The confirmed roster includes Ahri, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Jinx and Yasuo. These characters bring a variety of playstyles to the game, from heavy-hitting bruisers like Darius to nimble, projectile-based champions like Ahri.
2XKO is a 2.5D fighting game with assist-based mechanics. Players will control a squad of two different champions, allowing them to swap characters during combat to execute combos and strategies. The game features 3D character models fighting on a 2D plane, similar to the mechanics seen in games like Street Fighter 6.
