Anjali, who was pushed unceremoniously by Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna at a promotional event, has opened up about the fiasco. Taking to X, the ‘Geethanjali’ star shared the clip from the event, and thanked the veteran actor for attending the promotional event of her movie ‘Gangs Of Godavari’. She also claimed that she always shared a warm camaraderie with the ‘Akhanda’ star, and the entire incident was a jest.
“I want to thank Balakrishna Garu for gracing the Gangs of Godavari pre-release event with his presence. I would like to express that Balakrishna garu and I have always maintained mutual respect for each other and we have shared a great friendship for a long time. It was wonderful to share the stage with him again,” she tweeted.
In the clip, Balakrishna and Anjali are shown exchanging light hearted banter and a high-five and having a good laugh. Additionally, Balakrishna was shown gently pushing Anjali, to which she responded with laughter.
