After being relegated to the back corner of the APEC group photo, Biden now misses the G20 group photo; what was he doing?
New York Post reported that the photograph featured other world leaders which included Chinese President Xi Jinping prominently positioned at the center while Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was less visible in the back row.

In spite of speculations that Joe Biden's absence was an intentional move to avoid being photographed alongside Sergey Lavrov amidst the ongoing tensions from the Ukraine war, officials clarified that the photo was taken earlier than scheduled, asserted New York Post. After realizing they had missed the opportunity, Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau were seen looking around for the group while Giorgia Meloni also did not participate.
This incident added to a series of awkward moments for Joe Biden during his final international engagements as US President which also includes being positioned in a less prominent spot at the recent APEC summit in Peru, noted New York Post.
