Given that the bids are very competitive, companies will see the market uptake of graphics processing unit (GPU) models and then plan their investment and inventory accordingly, said some of the bidders.
“IndiaAI allows for putting up bids every quarter so based on market feedback, we can bid for more models in coming quarters,” said Yotta Data Services chief executive Sunil Gupta.
Yotta offered 9,216 GPUs, the most among the bidders, but has not emerged as an L1 bidder for any of the 30 GPU models. Asked how many of the 30 GPU models Yotta will match L1 price for, Gupta said, «H100, H200, L40S, and L4 for on-demand, one-, six-, and 12 months reservation.»
The fundamental point is I’m sitting on ready capacity of more than 10,000 GPUs, a big part of which can be made available for IndiaAI requirements, practically immediately, he said.
