This academy is expected to become South Asia’s largest aviation training facility, spanning 600,000 square feet and providing both classroom instruction and hands-on training, the company said in a press release on Monday
With a focus on quality and real-world application, the academy will feature advanced simulators, and more than 20 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) bays will be added to ensure crew readiness for its expanding Airbus and Boeing fleets.
Developing skilled pilots and crew
In addition to the academy, Air India is addressing the critical shortage of skilled pilots with the establishment of a Flying Training Organisation (FTO) in Amravati, Maharashtra.
