During the course of her interaction with the audience, on being probed about the book which has inspired her recent film, the audience remained silent. This led to some sort of embarrassment, even as the host was quick to manage it. It only led to further laughter as people saw the comic side of it, as per a report o PageSix.
Jimmy Fallon was quick to make light of the situation even as he pointed out that no one watching his show reads a book and those who do, watch the Stephen Colbert show.
