Sarma who is on a three-day visit to South Korea to woo industrialists, investors and entrepreneurs for Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit met the Korean Minister and held discussion to expand the parameter of collaboration between the entrepreneurs and startups of both Assam and South Korea.
The meeting also discussed on how the startup movement unleashed in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can reap rich dividends for the mutual benefits of both Assam and South Korea.
Sarma also visited the Startup Campus at Pangyo Techno Valley in Seoul known as South Korea’s Silicon Valley to see and comprehend the Startup ecosystem of South Korea. Techno Valley is an innovative Korean concept that houses start-ups and entrepreneurs from different technological backgrounds namely IT, biotech and cultural under one roof. He also interacted with several startup stakeholders during his visit to Techno Valley.
