Avowed: See release date, early access, platforms, Xbox game pass and gameplay
Obsidian Entertainment. The game takes place in the Eora universe, known from the Pillars of Eternity series. It features a customizable combat system, companions and a detailed narrative. Microsoft owns Obsidian, making Avowed an Xbox and PC exclusive at launch. The game is also available on Xbox Game Pass.

Release Date and Early Access
Avowed will release on February 18, 2025. Players, who pre-order the Premium Edition can access the game early, from February 13.

Platforms
Avowed will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will be available through Steam, the Xbox app and Battle.net.
A PlayStation release is uncertain. Microsoft has published other games on PlayStation, such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and The Outer Worlds 2. Future availability on PlayStation remains a possibility.
