US elections to begin, Donald Trump has landed into a serious problem, as a new poll has suggested that the independents are slowly swaying away from the Republicans and opting for Kamala Harris instead. This is now a serious issue as a nearabout 9% swing has been observed in this incredibly tight poll race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Gallup, which is the polling firm responsible for this latest survey data, has tracked that nearly 49% of the Independents are going for Kamala Harris, while only 45% of the Independents would choose Donald Trump.

When RFK Jr. had shaken hands with Donald Trump and publicly endorsed him in the campaigns, things were looking quite good for the Republicans, as it was expected that the Independent voters would follow suit. However, it now looks like the Republicans could land in serious trouble, if Kamala Harris manages to bag the votes of the Independents. RFK Jr.'s endorsement may not have appeased the Independents, as they may have expected their leader to have seen the elections through and not dropped out at an instance, and join forces with someone he had opposed for long.
