Amidst the high-stakes atmosphere, billionaire Elon Musk, a known Donald Trump supporter, tweeted a comparison of the top donor lists for the 2024 presidential contenders with those of the 2020 election between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
According to these lists, in 2020, Donald Trump’s major donors included several government bodies such as the US Postal Service, US Defense Department, and the US Army, along with corporations like American Airlines and Wells Fargo.
