Barack Obama concerned about Biden’s campaign; offers to help
US President Barack Obama is reportedly worried about the prospects of the incumbent president after last week’s first presidential debate. According to the Washington Post, he has conveyed this to several of his aides in private. Obama believed that Biden’s re-election bid was going to be tough. Now, after the first presidential debate, he believes that it will only get tougher. He has also reached out to Biden and offered him assistance and offered to serve as a sounding board as the presidential election gets tougher. Obama also took to social media to extend his support to Biden while lashing out at Trump.

Support to Biden:
Obama took to X and acknowledged that the debate did not go well for Biden. He said that there are bad days and the debate was one such bad day for Biden. He urged the voters to back Biden over the Republicans and Trump. He has previously supported Biden and also met him a few times in the White House. Further, the two have attended many fund-raising events together.

It is also believed that he advised Biden to divide his team at the White House and send a few of the advisors to manage the campaign outside the capital. Accordingly, Biden has sent a few members of his team to Wilmington to deal with the campaign.
