The incident unfolded when the passenger, fluent in Kannada, asked the driver to switch on the AC. The driver, seemingly in a foul mood, refused without any valid reason. When the passenger insisted, the situation took a turn for the worse. The driver demanded that he exit the vehicle, which he complied with. However, when asked to cancel the ride, the passenger refused, stating that the driver should be the one to cancel since he was the one who refused service. This led to a shocking escalation— the driver pulled out what appeared to be a small knife from his keychain and aggressively confronted the passenger.
In a moment of fear, the techie pointed toward a traffic police officer nearby and suggested taking the matter to the authorities.
