The case, which unfolded with significant evidence from over 200 CCTV cameras, has provided a clear picture of Swamy’s modus operandi and his extensive criminal career spanning nearly two decades.
Swamy, who began his life of crime in 2003 when he was still a minor, gradually evolved into a seasoned professional in the realm of burglary, theft, and robbery. By 2009, his criminal exploits had already amassed him wealth amounting to crores of rupees.
Despite being married with children, he led a double life that was characterized by lavish spending and numerous extramarital relationships. Police investigations reveal that his personal life was as tumultuous as his criminal activities, with a penchant for seeking the company of women and indulging in luxurious gifts and extravagant purchases.
One of the most striking aspects of his career was his alleged involvement in constructing a bunglow worth Rs three crore in Kolkata for a film actress with whom he had been romantically involved. It is believed that the funds used for this construction were derived from the money he had acquired through his criminal activities.
