For Indian students aspiring to study abroad, getting into a college of their preference seems like a dream. Historically, academic grades have always been the primary aspect in securing admission to reputed institutions but over time the significance of traits and achievements beyond the classroom have also grown significantly.
Today, many students can be seen asking the question, “what more can we do?”, as elite universities seek students who offer much more than educational excellence and come with attributes that are well suited to the environment on the campus.
What must the aspiring students do?
It is crucial for students to understand that there is no “one size fits all” strategy. Every selection is unique and so is each student hence, they must work with a strategy tailored to their passion, personality and drive to increase their chances of admission.
