Soros has endorsed Kamala Harris at a time when West Virginia senator and coal industrialist Joe Manchin is reportedly considering challenging the vice president. Significantly, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, and Bronx Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from the progressive wing of the party have publicly backed the vice president. These are the persons who could pose a challenge to Kamala Harris.
