The Starliner spacecraft by Boeing was set to plan its return voyage much before, but it kept getting delayed over time, as certain technical issues in the spacecraft could not be resolved, leading to continued postponement of the return schedule. There are still no updates on the vulnerabilities detection in the spacecraft, which would then help in resolving the issues on the Boeing Starliner. Project managers are still dodging the questions around the safe return of the astronauts and the critical issues on the Starliner, including the fact if they had already known about them before the launch of this space mission.
The International Space Station is currently in heavy risk as there are chances that the Boeing Starliner may straight up crash into it, while spinning out of control and going off radar. This could cost the billion-dollar worth ISS heavily and put NASA in the backfoot in this space race. Currently, Boeing is facing severe backlash for the failure of the spacecraft and the lives of astronauts hanging in the balance.
