Given that they have different political philosophies, Swift may find it difficult to maintain their friendship during election season if she decides to support Kamala Harris.
With a Zoom rally featuring Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Carole King on Tuesday, August 27, the Swifties for Harris campaign managed to raise a whopping $140,000. Although Swift has not yet endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, her past political endorsements of President Joe Biden in 2020 suggest that she leans left.

The pop singer opened up to The Guardian in 2019 about her feelings regarding Donald Trump. Gaslighting the American people into believing that if you hate the president, you hate America is something highly abhorrent. People are allowed to disagree, dissent, and debate because it is supposed to be a democracy and not an autocracy. The Swifties are deeply affected by her strong feelings regarding the divisive politician since Mahomes appears to support some of the former president's policies, such as keeping men out of women's sports, etc.
On Saturday, August 24, Mahomes posted on her Instagram Story after sensing the intensity of the Cruel Summer singer's fan base.
