US elections 2024 has been a topsy-turvy ride for both the Presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, and even thought the latter joined the poll race a little later, she is also feeling the complete heat of the contest. With just two months to go for the US Presidential Elections 2024, things are still looking very dicey, with predictions of a win spread equivalently on both sides of the camps.
It looks like Donald Trump can heave a sigh of relief, after a latest Economist/YouGov survey has predicted that he is closing in on Kamala Harris. The same survey had been consistently predicting earlier that Kamala Harris has the edge over the former US President, and after the DNC 2024, things were appearing to go Harris' way, based on the YouGov poll. Even in the September 1 to September 3 survey by YouGov, Harris was leading by at least 2 points against the former US President.
The survey, conducted between September 8 to September 10 by the pollster, showed that both the candidates were tied in terms of choice, and this is actually the first time in more than a month, that Harris is not leading against Donald Trump in this survey. This could be a good sign as well as a glimmer of hope that Trump will still be able to push full throttle in the next two months, and manage a thumping victory against Kamala Harris.
