Emma Heming, the wife of the Die Hard star, posted a video of the 69-year-old welcoming firefighters amidst the Los Angeles wildfires. This was the star's first public appearance since being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2022.

In the video, Bruce converses with the first responders while shaking their hands. The Pulp Fiction star even takes a photo with the firefighters who have been battling to contain the fires in Southern California since they started on January 7 and have forced thousands of people to evacuate, as quoted in a report by E!News.
When Bruce spotted a first responder, he never missed an opportunity to express his appreciation with a sincere handshake and a «thank you for your service,» Emma wrote on the Instagram post from January 16. «It was the same yesterday.»
