Tate McRae is gearing up for the release of her sophomore album 'Think Later' on December 8. The album is releasing just weeks after the singer is set to make her debut on Saturday Night Live show.
“This album means sooo much to me and I can’t believe it’s so close to coming out.
Writing this whole thing was one of the most stressful, exciting, nerve racking, and fun things I’ve ever gone through,” McRae wrote on Instagram. “For the first time in my life I lived this year a little less with my head and a little more with my intuition – and I rlly hope u guys can feel that through the music.
Through the biggest highs of my life to the lowest of lows – I feel so happy that it is now gonna be yours," the singer added.
As per a press release, the album will explore “the all-too-relatable feelings of falling in love and embracing the raw emotions that you experience as a result of leading with your intuition and heart.”
McRae's successful debut album, I Used to Think I Could Fly, marked a significant milestone in her career last year, solidifying her evolving creative identity with the release of four widely acclaimed singles.
In the spring of next year, McRae will embark on a world tour in support of Think Later, commencing on April 17 in Ireland. The European leg of the tour will extend through May 22, featuring various stops across the continent.
The North American segment of her tour will kick off on July 5 in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta, with the specific venue set to be announced at a later date. McRae's stateside performances will include appearances at renowned theaters and amphitheaters in key locations such as Los Angeles, Toronto, Nashville, Houston, and Philadelphia, among others.
