Rakshabandhan, the cherished festival celebrating the bond between siblings, approaches, an unexpected trend is taking over the festivities. As per a TOI report, the enthusiasm surrounding Chandrayaan-3, India's lunar mission, is extending its influence to this year's Rakshabandhan, with markets now featuring rakhis inspired by the cosmic expedition.
Following the widespread jubilation and national pride over the triumphant landing of ISRO's Vikram lander on the moon's southern pole, rakhi artisans are producing a distinctive line of rakhis adorned with Chandrayaan-3 motifs.
Labeled with titles such as 'Bharat Ka Vikram Ab Chand Par' (India's Vikram on the Moon) and 'Chand Bharat Ka Hua' (When India Touched the Moon), these specialized rakhis have already made their debut in the markets across the country.
Mohd Quadir, a rakhi designer and supplier, told TOI, «The mission's success sparked significant interest among buyers, driving them to request Chandrayaan-3 themed rakhis.
