Frightened by the incident, Yunus did not report the crime immediately to the police. Instead, he confided in his son, Mohammad Akram, who decided to take matters into his own hands. The next day, the two returned to the location of the theft, determined to find clues.
Akram searched for CCTV cameras in the area and sought the help of local residents who had surveillance footage. After some time, they found the footage of the two suspects fleeing the scene. Yunus recognized them immediately as the thieves.
Armed with the images from the CCTV footage, Akram and Yunus began asking around the neighborhood for information. Their efforts paid off when a resident identified one of the suspects, a man with brown hair, who was said to live nearby.
The father and son duo went to the suspect’s house. Upon arrival, Yunus immediately recognized the man, later identified as Rahul. As soon as Rahul saw Yunus, he attempted to flee, but Akram caught him and confronted him.
Akram demanded that Rahul return his father’s stolen phone and wallet, warning him that he would call the police if he did not comply. Initially, Rahul denied the theft but eventually surrendered when Akram insisted on involving the authorities. The suspect retrieved the stolen items from a room inside his house and returned them to Yunus.
