The letter mentioned that LG VK Saxena had taken note of the incident wherein a Bangladeshi national was involved in house break and assault of the actor. It also mentioned that it was reported that the accused was living under an assumed identity and was working at a restaurant.
Further, the letter said that the LG had observed the involvement of illegal Bangladeshi/Rohingya infiltrators in criminal/illegal activities in Delhi.
«It is underscored that such illegal immigrants are often employed by shopkeepers and other residents as workers/house help at far lower wages than the prescribed minimum wages, thereby depressing local labour markets,» the letter read.
