education minister's order, implemented on July 9, aims to address potential risks and safeguard the well-being of students and staff members amidst adverse weather conditions. "As we are aware that during the last few days, the city has faced continuous heavy rainfalls and it might have affected the conditions of government school buildings," ANI quoted the order as stating.
Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) has provided reassurance to its member lawyers regarding their inability to attend court proceedings on July 10 due to heavy rainfall in the national capital. In a communication issued on July 9, the DHCBA announced that no unfavorable orders would be issued if lawyers are unable to appear before the court.
The DHCBA further stated that a request was made to the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, who accepted the plea. Taking into account the persistent torrential rains experienced since July 7, and the Orange Alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for July 10, the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, in response to the DHCBA's request, agreed that no adverse orders would be passed in the event that lawyers are unable to attend court proceedings on July 10, ANI reported.
