Bollywood heartthrob Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer 'Dream Girl 2' stood on its own at the box-office despite the roaring success of movies like 'Jailer' and 'Gadar 2'.
On completion of its one-week-long run at the box-office, the comedy-drama minted Rs 67 crore (nett) since its release on August 25.
'Dream Girl 2' made Rs 10.69 crore on its opening day. During its first weekend, it added Rs 14.02 crore on Day 2 (Saturday) and Rs 16 crore on Day 3 (Sunday) — taking its opening weekend total to 40.71 crore.
The movie is the sequel to 'Dream Girl' which was released in 2019.
The first instalment was a hit at the box -office.
