During the video, Gaurav explained his mission to support farmers raising indigenous desi cows. He stated, “You must be wondering why we’re here. Through Rozier, we work with farmers who own desi cows. But there are lots of farmers in our country who aren’t getting accurate value for the milk produced by their desi cows. They’re migrating to other kinds of cows, or buffalo. We’ve committed to creating a community of farmers and educating them about desi cows.”
He further emphasized the importance of preserving indigenous cattle breeds and ensuring farmers receive fair compensation for their milk. “By meeting farmers, we wanted to understand what their pain points are. We wanted to understand why the desi cow population in our country is dwindling. We want to know what we can do for them to encourage them to breed desi cows… Our villages won’t develop only by creating roads, they’ll develop by investing in our farmers,” he said.
Gaurav had appeared on Shark Tank India to pitch his protein powder brand, Beast Life, asking for Rs 1 crore in exchange for a 1% equity stake. However, the panel of investors, or 'sharks,' expressed skepticism about his commitment to the business, noting his multiple ventures.
