When the general elections were conducted in the United States in 2020, 92 per cent of Black voters voted for Joe Biden. As per an opinion poll taken in August 2024, 72% of the Black voters preferred the Democratic candidate for the Vice Presidency, Kamala Harris. While Harris currently enjoys a higher polling number than Trump among the Black vote, she does not have the same percentage growth as the GOP candidate in this survey.
