Disney has released a trailer for "Goosebumps," its adaptation of the famous R.L. Stine scary book series for children. The trailer features a few startling moments and eerie scenes, accompanied by Travis Scott's song «Goosebumps.»
The show introduces five high school students, played by Zack Morris, Isa Briones, Miles McKenna, Ana Yi Puig and Will Price. They embark on a mysterious journey to uncover the truth behind the tragic death of a teenager named Harold Biddle three decades earlier while uncovering dark family secrets.
The series also includes Justin Long, who appears to become possessed by a sinister force around the 40-second mark of the trailer, and Rachael Harris.
«Goosebumps» will be available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, starting on Friday, October 13, with a total of five episodes. The first two episodes will also be broadcast on Disney's Freeform channel as part of their 31 Days of Halloween line-up.

This adaptation marks the second television iteration of «Goosebumps,» with the first being an anthology series that aired from 1995 to 1998. The popular Goosebumps novels have previously inspired two feature films in 2015 and 2018, both starring Jack Black as a fictionalized version of R.L. Stine.
The new series draws inspiration from five of Stine's most beloved Goosebumps stories: «Say Cheese and Die!,» «The Haunted Mask,» «The Cuckoo Clock of Doom,» «Go Eat Worms!,» and «Night of the Living Dummy.»
