Govt heat on Ola, Uber over differential pricing on iPhone, Android phones
Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) on Thursday issued notices to ride-hailing platforms Ola and Uber over differential pricing, a burning issue which several customers have flagged against the cab aggregators.

Union Minister of Consumer Affairs Pralhad Joshi took to X to share the same as part of an follow-up to claims of different pricing on different mobiles, that is, Android and/ or iPhone.
The government has sought the apps' responses for the same.
«As a follow-up to the earlier observation of apparent Differential Pricing based on the different models of mobiles (iPhones/ Android) being used, Department of Consumer Affairs through the CCPA, has issued notices to major cab aggregators Ola and Uber, seeking their responses,» he said.
