Gymshark settles USD 1 million lawsuit filed by influencer Alix Earle for alleged early deal termination over her pro-Israel views
Gymshark has reportedly settled a lawsuit with a US influencer who had alleged that the company terminated a sponsorship deal with her after her pro-Israel views attracted a backlash on social media. The lawsuit was filed in the British High Court by Alix Earle, who has 7 million followers on TikTok. She also has more than 4 million Instagram followers.

The news about the settlement of the lawsuit was reported by the Telegraph earlier this week. In her lawsuit, Earle had sought USD 1 million in damages over an early termination of a contract. However, Gymshark purportedly denied having signed a contract with her. Earle's lawyers claimed they had seen a letter dated January 2024 in which Gymshark noted a breach of contract on the influencer's part.

Alix Earle's Allegations Against Gymshark
In her court submissions, Earle claimed that Gymshark had agreed on paying her USD 1 million for three TikTok and four Instagram posts for promoting the brand. She also claimed that the fee covered an appearance at an event and a photo shoot as well. The allegations levelled by the American social media personality said that Gymshark ended its deal with her in late 2023 amid criticism of her 'perceived stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict' in the aftermath of the October 7 Hamas attack.
