Brain cancer and tumor related cases are on the rise across the United Kingdom (UK) and it is also a deadly type of cancer which is infecting children and adults under the age of 40- years. It has been estimated that every year there are around 12,000 cases detected in the UK and only one in 10 people survive until the next decade. However, according to experts, there are certain methods which can help people reduce their chances of getting diagnosed with brain cancer. They are some life style changes. This has been reported by the Mirror. There are four methods of achieving this.
Fresh air and exercise:
Recent research has revealed that air pollution can cause cognitive disorders and also other lifestyle diseases. Walking and exercising are important for not only maintaining one’s physical health but also their mental health. The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity every day. While, this recommendation is not directly linked to brain cancer, it can help in reducing the general risk of cancer.
Eating Healthy:
It is the most important activity to undertake to maintain overall good health. It also helps in maintaining good mental health and provides the energy to carry out day to day activities. Further, there is no specific food that is recommended for avoiding brain cancer. However, it is recommended to avoid direct sugar and add fish oil and Omega 3 fatty acids to maintain brain health.
