How BJP prepared its Sankalp Patra for 2024 Lok Sabha Elections: Manifesto panel head Rajnath Singh reveals
Sankalp Patra, for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in an event at its headquarters in New Delhi. Ranjan Singh, the head of BJP's manifesto committee, also spoke at the event, revealing how the team prepared the Sankalp Patra.
Singh said the party prepared the manifesto after an extensive and comprehensive exercise. BJP received lakhs of suggestions online as well as through institutions and individuals.
Rajnath Singh said they received 4 lakh inputs through the NAMO app, while about 10 lakh suggestions were received through videos. The BJP manifesto committee received 15 lakh such inputs.
After screening the suggestions, the committee then held deliberations on the major inputs. «We also deliberated upon the financial implications of the suggestions, whether they are related to the Centre or states, or if they are related to the concurrent list,» Singh said. The committee also discussed whether there are any existing schemes related to the suggestions or if they have any implications on friendly countries, Singh added.
After a 360-degree analysis, we have divided the suggestions into 24 groups, out of which 10 are social groups for the poor, youth, middle class, nari shakti, farmers, laborers, fishermen, SMEs, small traders, and senior citizens under 'sabka saath sabka vikash,' Rajnath Singh revealed.
