US elections nearing a kick off this November, things are becoming increasingly competitive among the Republicans as well as the Democrats. For starters, the battleground states have now become extremely important for both candidates to get an upper hand in the polls. Earlier poll data had suggested that Kamala Harris was comfortably leading in the election race, but the current and the past week have somehow turned the tide in Donald Trump's favor as the former US President has been seen all levelled up in the latest poll data.
A latest poll, released this Wednesday by Quinnipiac University, has asserted the fact that Donald Trump has surpassed Kamala Harris in the election race in Georgia with a massive 52% support from the voters in this battleground state. Harris, on the other hand, has only been able to manage a mere 45% likely support. While there is still room for error in such poll data, there is no denying the fact that Kamala Harris has majorly lost her stronghold in a region like Georgia, which can end up proving very costly for her in the long run.
Among other battleground states, there are reports that Harris is also falling behind in Pennsylvania, as Donald Trump has levelled her lead there, suggest previous ET reports. Pennsylvania, being one of those blue wall states, is now in danger of falling in the hands of the Republicans, which could have full-blown repercussions later on.
