Former US President Donald Trump’s transition team is engaging pretty actively with the prominent Republicans as the US Presidential Election approaches while the top candidate for the key positions is Senator Marco Rubio who is being considered for the Secretary of State, reported New York Post. Former ambassador Carlos Trujillo also emphasized on Marco Rubio’s qualifications which is based on his foreign affairs expertise and strong personal rapport with Donald Trump.
New York Post reported that the other potential nominees for significant positions include Senators Tom Cotton and Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance as well as Robert O’Brien and Richard Grenell for national security roles. Mike Johnson, the House Speaker claimed that several lawmakers of GOP are targeting the cabinet positions while up to ten will be possibly transitioning if Donald Trump wins the US Presidential Elections.
