Donald Trump beats Harris by one point in hypothetical poll
Donald Trump has been ahead in most of the polls till now, including the latest one by Fox News of national poll of registered voters that was released on Wednesday. This poll was taken in between August 9 to 12, and Trump leads Harris by one point in it. Although the margin is fairly minimal in a hypothetical poll like this, but this speaks of the fact that Trump is surely doing something right that is placing him ahead in most of these kinds of polls.

What is Trump doing right?
Trump is being seen connecting with the youth in all circumstances, including being a part of a recent 'unscripted' interview with Elon Musk on X's Spaces, a platform owned by the tech giant. He has been seen quite composed in this interview, refraining from dropping any insensitive comments or trigger any controversy, which could prove to be detrimental to him. His consciousness around these factors, which was earlier not seen in previous campaigns, could be a reason he is gaining the confidence of the American mass.
Harris shows improvement compared to Biden
Harris' ratings and poll results in current circumstances are way better than Joe Biden's time in the poll race. Harris has somehow managed to keep up with the race against Trump initially, but is steadily maintaining her grip and moving further with the campaign. Over a few weeks of time, it can be expected that she would gain major stronghold
