In 2022, Mantaj decided to leave his successful career as an account manager at Google in Dublin and return to India. His motivation was driven by two main factors: the desire to be closer to his family in Punjab and to tackle a critical issue he had observed — the widespread problem of food adulteration and the lack of regulation in India’s food supply chain.
