Kursk have seriously dented President Vladimir Putin's authority and he has come under attack for the first time. The man who played a very crucial role in strengthening Russia after establishing itself as a regional power once again in Europe has been challenged and questioned by the people surrounding him. Quoting Abbas Gallyamov, who worked as a speechwriter for Putin from 2008-2012, the «Express» has reported that Vladimir Putin's leadership is «already being questioned» by his colleagues in the Kremlin.
According to the UK-based news outlet, the former speechwriter said the process of questioning Putin’s leadership is already on the go and failure in Kursk will speed up the process. He said further the more Ukrainians are present on Russian soil, the stronger and deeper the process goes.

Gallyamov told the 'Express' that to drive the Ukrainians out the president needed fresh troops which he didn’t have. Putin would do this by pulling out some of the troops deployed in Donbas, and if he does so, the pressure on Ukraine in that area would become weaker and the Russian president hates doing this.
