Kannada star Darshan's wife has a message for fans after emotional jail visit
Darshan Thoogudeepa's wife, Vijaya Lakshmi Darshan, has called for calm and positive actions from his fans following his arrest in a murder case. Sharing a fan art in support of the arrested actor on Instagram, Vijaya Lakshmi expressed gratitude for the support her husband has received and referred to his fans as «celebrities.» She urged them to stay calm, engage in good deeds, and assured them that Darshan is moved by their support.
Vijaya Lakshmi acknowledged the distressing situation that requires them to be apart from Darshan. She communicated with him about the situation, which she said deeply touched him. Darshan has requested his fans to remain composed and focus on positivity, confident that he is in their prayers, she said. Vijayalakshmi emphasized their faith in the judicial system and expressed optimism for better days ahead. She believes that those attempting to harm Darshan will face consequences and asked for continued support from his fans, stating that their calmness will be their greatest strength.
Darshan's wife meets him in jail
Darshan, along with 17 others, including his friend Pavithra Gowda, has been implicated in the alleged murder of Renukaswamy. Darshan's wife and son visited him in Bengaluru Central Prison, where he broke down upon seeing them. During their brief meeting, Vijayalakshmi informed Darshan about their plans to seek bail. Darshan’s friend, actor Vinod Prabhakar, also visited him, though their interaction was brief and emotional.
