Kareena Kapoor attempts to calm a stressed-out Alia Bhatt at Raj Kapoor Film Festival, video goes viral
Alia Bhatt, who recently hosted a film festival in honour of Bollywood showman Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary, was seen looking stressed in a video. The clip captured a heartwarming moment where sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan encouraged and comforted her.
The RK Film Festival, organized by PVR INOX Limited and the Film Heritage Foundation, honored Raj Kapoor’s enduring cinematic legacy. The three-day event began with a grand opening night, featuring screenings of Kapoor’s classics like Awaara, Shree 420, and Mera Naam Joker in select theatres across 40 cities.
Showcasing 10 of Raj Kapoor’s most iconic films, the festival spans nearly four decades of his illustrious career. The lineup includes Aag (1948), Barsaat (1949), Awaara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Jagte Raho (1956), Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai (1960), Sangam (1964), Mera Naam Joker (1970), Bobby (1973), and Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985).
At the festival, Ranbir paid tribute to his grandfather Raj Kapoor by donning a moustache and a dark bandhgala. Alia, dressed in an elegant ivory saree reminiscent of Nargis, looked stunning. After posing for photos, she delighted fans by taking a selfie with the paparazzi. Alia’s close friend Akansha Ranjan was also spotted at the event.
On the professional front, Alia has two films in progress. She is currently filming Alpha, part of YRF’s spy universe, alongside Sharvari. She also stars in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
